Chicagoland Photographer | Delaney - Class of 2020
Today I want to celebrate Delaney and her graduating from Boone Grove High School! Looking at these I seriously just have one word that comes to mind - E P I C. I’ve had the fortune of photographing Delaney prior to being a High School Senior years ago and was thrilled when she wanted to be one of my Brand Models during her Senior year. Delaney is a shining star and always brings the best energy.
For her Senior Session we did the Beach & Urban in Miller/Gary area. Delaney was also able to be part of my group shoot at the Country Line Orchard. And just a few days ago we did some images in cap and gown and with the parachute.
“It’s been a tough year for me. Losing my dad the start of my senior year was awful as you could imagine how hard it was. But I got back up and did everything that I would normally do. Thanks to my strong mother who pushed me to keep going and live life with strength and positivity in everything I do, knowing my dad will be looking down and proud as ever! I’m so grateful for every person in my life that has helped along the way! I couldn’t have done it without my family, friends, and my supportive school! Boone Grove will forever hold a place in my heart! I am excited for what the future has in store! Daddio, I miss you with all my heart but I know you are right by me every step of the way💚”

I would teleport to the past.

My super power would be being a time traveler.

Professional Karaoke Singer!!

9. What fashion trend do you think is ridiculous?
Stripes and plaid I don’t think go together.
10. What is your favorite outfit ever?
I love wearing flannels and a cute pair of jeans with either vans or converse!
11. What do you think is the most annoying habit of humans?
Chewing loudly
12. What would be the name of a movie you star in?
A Girl , a Jeep and her Tribe
13. Favorite part of high school?
My favorite part of high school would be going on this retreat called Natural Helpers! Only a variety of students get picked by their peers to go and I got the opportunity to go! It was such an awesome experience!
14. What is your favorite treat that you'd eat all the time if you could?
Peanut Butter Meltaways with sea salt from Albanese!
15. What can you not live without?
Probably my phone
16. If you could travel or move anywhere, where would that be?
If I could travel I would travel to a different country too see what it would be like to live there!
17. Why do you love to participate in pageants?
Competing in a pageant had been my dream! I’ve watched my sister do pageants and it really made me want to compete! Not only is it a fun experience. But it helps with your future! For example, interviews, fitness, and being confident!
I’m competing next November in Miss Indiana Teen USA again! I got to 12th place in the last one!
18. Why do you think it's important to do senior portraits? What was the best part?
I think senior portraits are always fun to express yourself and have something to look back on when you are older! I think the best part is being able to be creative and use your vision to really show your personality and who you are!
Delaney, you’ve overcome the tragic unexpected loss of your dad Brian and have learned so many life lessons so early. You’ve honored your dad’s memory by living life to the fullest and following your dreams. You will be able to help others by sharing your experience and outlook on life. I am sure I am not the only one who is inspired by you! You have an amazing support system by your side, since I know a few of the strong and beautiful women in your family personally!
Whether you take a year off to live with your sister in L.A. or go to Aveda Institute in Chicago for cosmetology, your future is whatever you decide to do with it! The sky is the limit for you! Take your time to figure it out and have fun!
